Your first chiropractic visit

Your First Chiropractic Visit

What to Expect

During the first visit, the chiropractor will start by reviewing your past medical history with you. This may include discussing your  medical history, your pre-existing medical conditions, previous injuries and previous and current health providers and treatments. The doctor will then perform a comprehensive physical exam to evaluate and diagnose your condition. Following the exam, the chiropractor will go through a review of findings with you to discuss the diagnosed condition, treatment options including if chiropractic care would be a good fit, and next steps. If the doctor determines that any imaging is needed, or that your condition would be more appropriately treated by another health care professional, they will make the proper referral. Depending on your diagnosed condition, you may be treated during your first visit.

What to Wear

We ask that you please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows you to move easily.

What to Bring With You

Please make sure to bring your insurance and drivers license/ID card, completed new patient paperwork and copies of any applicable imaging (MRI, X-ray, CT)  reports  that were performed in the last 7 years.
